Maintenance Support Engineer – Mechanical

PBS Offshore (Ponticelli UK Ltd) are seeking a dynamic and ambitious individual to join our team. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced mechanical engineer to work closely with many of the Company’s experienced professionals within a maintenance support engineering environment.   

Details/duties: 

• Provide day-to-day mechanical and safety equipment support to offshore / sites.  

• Support work scope estimating, preparation and planning.  

• Supporting / solving technical issues arising from offshore / sites.  

• Knowledge and experience of mechanical and safety equipment in the field.  

• Collaborate with various team members across various functions, departments to build and maintain strong and trusted relationships.  

• Analysis of data, researching industry trends, and executing plans within function area.  

• Creation of reports, presentations, and documentation to communicate findings and recommendations on various projects.  

• Participate in team meetings/brainstorming sessions to provide insights and innovative ideas.  

Qualifications/Experience required:

• Proven experience in a similar position within the Oil & Gas industry. 

• 2:1 or 2:2 Honours Degree is preferred, and/or qualification through relevant industry / work experience.

• Willingness to travel to sites, including offshore  

• Attention to detail and accuracy  

• Effective communication and interpersonal skills  

• Ability to work collaboratively in a team and independently when required
