The New Roles and Faces of PBS

Since announcing that TotalEnergies had chosen to extend its original General Maintenance and Operations Contract (GMOC) with us through to May 2026; new and exciting projects are already underway!

Safety and efficiency have established PBS as an exemplary choice for integrated services delivery under the GMOC model, and our response has been to strengthen our team – in numbers and in value.

We know that success is always a team effort, and we’re proud to introduce the newest members of Team PBS.

Firstly welcoming Mike Hampton as our Planning Governance Manager. His planning, project management and project controls experience are serving him well in this new position as our central function head for all planning activity. Long-term, Mike’s remit will be to oversee all planning controls, but his focus in the first instance is to support planning improvements in crane delivery and engineering.

Lee Will joined PBS in June as our Cranes Commercial Focal Point, bringing contract management and mechanical engineering experience to this new role. Lee is a welcome addition to our Special Maintenance Contract (SMC) Team, adding considerable strength to our Cranes Programme.

Our new QHSE Manager Andrew Taylor also joined us in June. Andrew has amassed more than 28 years working in health & safety, and 35 years in the energy industry. He commands a wealth of experience, including extensive knowledge of Major Accident Hazard management and Process Safety. We look forward to leveraging his experience to deliver continuous improvement for PBS.

In July, existing PBS employee Jody Lusher was promoted to manage the Maintenance & Operational Excellence Team. More than 25 years of energy industry experience has prepared him for this role, where he will support the integration of all maintenance reviews and delivery performance, providing a platform for continuous improvement.

And most recently, Team PBS are delighted to welcome Dave MacAllan as CNS’ new Deputy Asset Manager. Dave brings 23 years of energy services experience to this role, together with a solid understanding of the PBS GMOC – having been part of the original NNS Asset team for first two years of the contract. His knowledge and experience will prove invaluable as we look toward 2025 and beyond.

PBS, headquarters in Westhill, deliver integrated operations, maintenance, engineering, construction, facilities management, and access solutions through its 1100 highly skilled staff across multiple contracts.
