TotalEnergies’ Managing Director’s Award

Last Thursday, April 25th, GMOC Director Adam Mason was invited to present an award at the annual TotalEnergies HSE Awards at Union Kirk in Aberdeen. The award for Best Safety Improvement – presented by Adam – went to the Ailsa Deck Crew and Operations team. There were 8 other awards bestowed throughout the course of the evening, which included several worthy contributions from PBS individuals and teams (more to follow on this).

As the ceremony drew to a close, Nicolas Payer, TotalEnergies’ Managing Director arrived at the podium to give out the final award…

At this point, #TeamPBS were surprised and delighted to be welcomed to the stage to accept the Managing Director’s Award as part of the overall TEPUK team responsible for the maintenance backlog reduction campaign, which Nicolas highlighted, had been reduced by 75%.

Commenting on the award Adam said:

“There are so many contributors to this success both onshore and offshore, and we are delighted to accept this award on their behalf. We will be sure to share this success with the wider team and use it to help keep us focussed on sustainable performance”.
